my new sabby and the drop forward

Hi,

Ok first things first, thanks to fat bob's for the stuff.

Now onto my problem. See the pic. How am I supposed to fit the drop forward on.

OK, as you can see on the pics, the longer screws can only be used to attack the bottle connecter (or whatever it's called) to the drop forward, as the other screws are too short.

As for conecting the drop forward to the gun, the short screws are too short, as they don't reach the threads :(

Someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong 'cos i'm really confused.

I've got a Sabotage and have recently fitted the Shark d-p onto my marker - I used the long black screw which oringally held the bottle mount to the base of the grip, those were the ones I used to attach the drop forward to the grip.

I hope this makes sense, its a little past my bed time

Having now looked at the pics, and seen what you mean, I had a similar problem, only I didn't have any screws to attach the bottom line to the drop forward, but my dad was able to "acquire" some 4mm screws from his workplace which did the trick nicely. Basically I would imagine all you need are some longer screws with the same diametre as the ones you were supplied with, unless these screws are "specially contructed" or somethig that means you can't use "ordinary" ones.

thanks. i guessed i would have to use others as the ones i've got at the moment just are too short. ok i'll give it a try.
